OUT-OF-HOURS SERVICE
Primary health care outside of surgery hours is the responsibility of NHS Suffolk. For urgent medical attention when the surgery is closed, telephone 01394 283197, the call will be diverted to the Harmoni on call service. This is for URGENT MEDICAL CONDITIONS ONLY.
The doctor will normally consult by telephone or invite you to visit a Primary Care Centre.

If you require urgent medical attention when your GP surgery is closed, call 0300 130 3066.
Weekdays: Monday to Friday: 6.30pm - 8.00am
Weekends: Friday 6.30pm - Monday 8.00am
Bank Holidays: 24 Hours
FELIXSTOWE COMMUNITY HOSPITAL
This local hospital has an on-call casualty service open from 7am—10pm. Minor outpatient surgery is available by referral from your GP. A doctor from this practice attends the hospital at 10.00am from Monday to Friday.
Injuries and illnesses requiring dressings are best dealt with at the hospital. The hospital also has a chiropody service and a physiotherapy department.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
NHS Direct
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call
NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
